Another Strong Breeding Year
Surveys conducted in May and Early June by USFWS, Canadian Wildlife Service, and several state agencies reported that duck breeding populations indicate another strong year for waterfowl populations. The overall numbers are very similar to last years. It is estimated that there are 49.5 million breeding ducks in the area surveyed. There was a large number of birds returning to the Boreal Forest and parts of Canada. To read the complete Waterfowl Survey Report, CLICK HERE
